KATHMANDU - POKHARA - CHITWAN

Day 1:   Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (KTM) - Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (KTM) you will be transferred to hotel. Witness the arati at Pashupatinath Temple in the evening and after that back to hotel.

Rest of the evening and overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 2:  Kathmandu city tour

Embark on a sightseeing tour covering Pashupatinath Temple, Darbar Sqare (enroute visit), drive pass through Narayanhiti Durbar, the palace of the last Hindu King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Also visit Swayambhunath, the temple of sleeping Buddha.

Evening and overnight at hotel. 

Day 3:   Kathmandu - Pokhara

After early breakfast transfer to Pokhara (206km / 6-7 hours drive). Arrival at Pokhara in the late afternoon and transfer to hotel. Or spend some time at lakeside area. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Lakeside area at Pokhara. 

Day 4:   Pokhara local sightseeing

Early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot (about one hour drive) to experience the panoramic sunrise and some of the Nepal’s most fascinating mountain views.

Return back to you hotel for breakfast and after that commence on a sightseeing tour covering Devi’s Fall, Mahendra or Gupteshwor Mahadev Caves, Bindyabasini Temple, Seti River Gorge etc. Afternoon one can visit to Fewa Lake and Tal Barahi temple (optional).

Overnight stay at Lakeside area, Pokhara. 

Day 5:   Pokhara - Chitwan

Morning transfer to Chitwan (about 4 hours drive).

Evening at leisure / take part in Tharu cultural programme in the evening.

Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6:  Chitwan stay (Jungle Activities)

Today you will take part in jungle activities such as canoeing at Rapti River, a guided walk in the jungle followed by elephant safari etc and visit elephant breeding centre and evening at leisure. 

Day 7:  Chitwan - Kathmandu (Via- Manokamna Temple)

Today you will be transferred to Kathmandu. En-route visit Manokamna Temple.

Evening and overnight at hotel or at the Casino. 

Day 8:   Check out

After breakfast check out from your hotel and transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (KTM) for your onward journey.
